Mufti Khalid Mukhtar is a scholar of Islamic sciences with formal training in Ifta and a Master’s degree in Islamic Studies. He has received ijazat in Hadith, Fiqh, Aqidah, and other areas of Islamic studies under the guidance of qualified scholars. He is currently completing his PhD thesis in Ilal al-Hadith, focusing on the study of Hadith narrations and the methods used by early and classical Hadith scholars to identify and analyze subtle issues in transmission and text.

Mufti Khalid has extensive experience teaching traditional Islamic sciences and classical texts. Over the years, he has taught works such as al-Muwatta of Imam Malik, Jami al-Tirmidhi, Alfiyyah Ibn Malik, and Alfiyyah al-Iraqi, along with a variety of classical works in Fiqh and related subjects.

In addition to teaching, he has guided and supervised students in preparing academic theses and research papers in different areas of Islamic studies. His work with students includes support in research methodology, working with primary sources, and engaging thoughtfully with classical Islamic scholarship.

His main areas of scholarly interest include Hadith and Ulum al-Hadith, Ilal al-Hadith, Fiqh, Usul al-Fiqh, Aqidah, Arabic language, and classical Islamic texts. His academic work reflects a strong interest in studying the Islamic scholarly tradition through its original sources, classical commentaries, and established methods of scholarship. With his dedication to Islamic education and his scholarly contributions, Mufti Khalid plays a pivotal role in shaping the Hadith studies program.
