Sheikh Ahmed Muhammad Mounir Abdel Qawy is an esteemed Islamic scholar who studied at Al-Azhar University and furthered his Islamic education by studying with scholars outside the university. He has received numerous ijazat (licenses), including an ijazah in the ten Qira'at (modes of Qur’anic recitation).

Sheikh Ahmed currently serves as the Imam of Masjid As-Siraj Al-Mounir in Cairo and has extensive experience teaching in various Islamic platforms such as Zadi. He has supervised many Islamic TV programs and has taught thousands of teachers how to effectively teach the Quran and Islamic studies.

At the International Islamic University of Minnesota (IIUMN), Sheikh Ahmed teaches courses such as ISEG100: Arabic Language Level I, ISEG103: Arabic Language Level II, and ISEC114: Tajweed I. His expertise and dedication to Islamic education have made him a respected figure among his students and the broader Islamic community.
