Sheikh Abdulrahman Ibrahim Ahmed Mohamed Alhawaty is an experienced instructor in the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Qur'anic Sciences, specializing in teaching non-Arabic speakers. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies in English from the Faculty of Languages and Translation at Al-Azhar University and is currently pursuing post-graduate studies as a master's researcher in Qur'anic Studies.
Sheikh Abdulrahman has memorized the entire Qur’an by heart, holding ijazat (licenses) in the recitations of Hafs and Shubaa’ from Asim. His courses include ISEG101: Introduction to Islamic Sciences, ISEG201: Qur'anic Sciences, and ISEC115: Analytical Tafseer I. He has extensive teaching experience at various institutions, including Greenlane School in Birmingham, and has worked in Islamic translation for several years.
Committed to Islamic education, Sheikh Abdulrahman strives to impart a deep understanding of the Qur'an and Islamic sciences to his students, ensuring a solid foundation in these essential subjects.
